Her spirit lives on...

Those who look upon this maple tree and are shaded by its branches will remember her gentle manner and loving soul as her spirit lives on.

To Tori, Troy, Angela, Rex, Dawn, Jen, Ellie, Paul, Christy, and Victoria - With tremendous gratitude and love to my dear MVRHS friends for this beautiful gift, one that becomes a remembrance for years to come. and for their support at every turn, particularly the moments I didn't know I needed it.

On Tuesday, 5 December, Rex, Roberto and Moksha planted the Japanese maple at the entrance to the ancient way that cuts through our property to the Land Bank trails beyond.

Sited just to the right of the path
Back to the earth - a few handfuls of Virginia's ashes
Layering on soil and compost from Virginia's garden
 The first watering
A light rain commenced as they finished
As if it's been there for some time
Her spirit lives on and will be a precious pause for all of us who walk these woods
